Mountain huts in the area provide a perfect excuse to slow down. Many serve regional specialties, fresh cakes, and hot drinks, making them ideal for a relaxed lunch before continuing your walk. Expect to spend approximately €15–25 per person for a satisfying meal.

The weather deserves careful attention. Although the valley may feel warm, temperatures near the summit can be 8–12°C cooler, and mountain conditions may change rapidly during the afternoon. Carrying a lightweight waterproof jacket and an extra layer will make the day much more comfortable.

If photography is one of your priorities, try to board one of the first morning departures or remain on the mountain until later in the afternoon.
